Perfect for canoes, aluminum's, inflatables and portaging. This outboard is water cooled (just like all larger outboards) which offers a significantly quieter operation than other air-cooled engines. With its lever shifting (like larger HP models) the operator can control engine speed and direction smoothly, unlike other engines equipped with a centrifugal clutch where you need to accelerate to move forward.
